You will also have the opportunity to see the Hamel Honors and Scholars College facilities and connect with current scholars. The Hamel Scholars Program
The program is oriented around intellectual community and public engagement, from the close-knit honors floors in our residence halls to the student-driven task forces tackling some of today’s most urgent challenges. Forge meaningful connections with world-class professors. Advance knowledge through innovative research starting your freshman year. Enjoy your meal in the company of current and other admitted Hamel Scholars as you make connections with present and future Wildcats. Meanwhile, your guests will be seated at a separate table with the accomplished faculty and staff that comprise the program. - 6:45 p.m. Faculty and Student Speeches
UNH President James Dean Jr. shares welcoming remarks and insight into the history of the Hamel Scholars Program. Hear from a panel composed of a Hamel Scholar alumna, current Hamel Scholar, accomplished faculty member, and program advisor about the merits of a Hamel Scholar experience at the University. - 7:30 p.m. Panel Conclude

FROm Edgewood Visitor Lot to Stillings Dining Hall
Once you have parked in Edgewood Visitor Lot, proceed to the Stillings Dining Hall.
- Exit Edgewood Visitor Lot
- Cross Edgewood Road using the crosswalk near the Hamel Recreation Center
- Follow the sidewalk up the hill between Congreve Hall and McLaughlin Hall.
- At the top of the hill, bear to the right and walk in front of the brick building before you (Scott Hall)
- Continue towards Smith Hall
- Following the sidewalk, proceed behind Smith Hall and take the left at the fork
- Proceed down the hill and Stillings Dining Hall will be before you on the left
- Enter Stillings and go to the second floor to check-in
