Should you require disability-related accommodations, please call the Admissions Office at (603) 862-1360; 7.1.1 (Relay NH). At least two weeks advance notice is requested in order for us to help ensure making the necessary arrangements.

All guests of the Admissions Office are required to display a temporary visitor parking pass. These will be issued with your event confirmation email after registering for an admissions sponsored event. Guests with a valid temporary parking pass and a state issued handicapped placard or license plate are permitted to park in ANY accessible or metered parking space on campus for free. When parking in a metered space, guests are limited to the max time indicated on the meter.

Additional information for getting around Durham

For guests with mobility issues, a manual wheelchair is available upon request. It is the responsibility of the guest(s) for the care and operation of the chair. The entire admissions tour is wheelchair accessible.

Animals are prohibited at Admissions’ events other than service dogs. Emotional Support Animals (ESA’s) must be approved as a reasonable accommodation. Contact ADA Compliance at (603) 862-2930 for the approval process. Proper behavior of the animal is required and is the responsibility of the owner.

Upon request, the Admissions Office will procure a certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter at no cost to the guest. At least two weeks of advance notice is requested to help us secure an interpreter.

Admissions guests are encouraged to experience one of our award-winning dining facilities while on campus. For guests with dietary restrictions, requests about dining options and availability can be made to the Admissions Office at (603) 862-1360; 7.1.1 (Relay NH) or to Rochelle L’Italien, Registered Dietician with UNH Dining Services at (603) 862-2583.
