The University of New Hampshire's scenic main campus is known for its history and year-round beauty. The residential campus is located in Durham, just an hour north of Boston and an hour south of the White Mountains. It's easily accessible by many means of transportation, including Amtrak train: We have our very own station right on campus.
UNH puts the health and well-being of our community and fellow and future Wildcats first. Following public health guidelines, all on-campus events, including prospective student visits, have been cancelled. This does not mean you have to press pause on exploring your future at UNH. There are plenty of options to connect with us online. Get started below with a virtual tour of our beautiful campus.
Campus Tours & Info Sessions
Meet for 30 minutes with an admissions counselor and ask any question you'd like. Then, explore our breathtaking campus — one of the safest and greenest in the country — on a 90-minute tour led by one of our kind, motivated students, and see why great people like you belong here.
UNH welcomes groups of 10 or more visitors from schools and organizations. Tours are available by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the academic year and each summer. We offer self-guided tours and scavenger hunts for grades 6-8 and information sessions and campus tours for grades 9-12.
A minimum of three weeks advance notice is required to accommodate any group visit request.
Tours take place rain or shine except when UNH cancels operations. If the weather is questionable, please call the UNH Storm Line at (603) 862-0000. For disability-related accommodations, please call the Admissions Office at (603) 862-1360 or 7.1.1 (Relay NH) at least two weeks in advance.
