Join us for an Admitted Student Visit Day on April 11 or April 19, 2026 to meet engaging faculty and current College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) students, explore academic sessions and open house drop-in sessions, tour campus and select residence halls, visit lab and makerspace facilities, and see how CEPS students get involved in real research from day one through Innovation Scholars, the only first-year research and innovation program of its kind in New England.

Learn more about your admitted major from current students and faculty in this session. Students admitted Undeclared in CEPS can attend a session that describes the special programming around learning about all CEPS majors or attend a session for a specific major they may be interested in pursuing.

- 12:30-3:00 p.m. Interoperability Labs (IOL) Tours
The UNH IOL works with companies such as Cisco, Apple, Dell and Intel, testing their products and services. See live demos and ask questions of some of the more than 100 undergraduate students working there. Tours available every 30 minutes. Last tour starts at 2:30 p.m. These tours are offered on April 11th only. - 2:30-4:30 p.m. John Olson Advanced Manufacturing Center Tours
The Olson Center is focused on advanced manufacturing technologies and a cross-curricular approach to engineering and manufacturing concepts. Explore the state-of-the-art facilities and learn about the hands-on interdisciplinary research and internship opportunities available to CEPS students.

Parking will be available in B-Lot for guests attending the Admitted Student Visit Day. We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes prior to the program start to allow enough time for parking and getting to the event location. Look for the large orange teardrop sign outside B-Lot. The event check-in is located on the second floor of the Memorial Union Building (MUB). Use the directions below to navigate from B-Lot to the MUB.
GPS Address: B Lot, Mcdaniel Drive, Durham, NH
Use the map for driving directions from your location. We recommend using the exit at Route 155A to access parking easily and following the instructions to campus below.
- Exit at Route 155A and turn towards Durham (3rd exit that references "Durham", if coming from Route 4).
- Follow 155A past a short stretch of field to the UNH campus.
- At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit to continue on Main Street.
- Take a right at the traffic lights onto College Road.
- Continue down College Road until it becomes McDaniel Drive, approximately 0.6 miles.
- B-Lot will be on your left.
Once you have parked in B-Lot, proceed to the Memorial Union Building.
- Exit B-Lot by crossing the road at Academic Way (lot entrance).
- Proceed towards Academic Way and Quad Way.
- Once on Academic Way, cross the street and head towards 10 Academic Way.
- Take a right on the pathway that is immediately to the left of 10 Academic Way.
- Residence Halls will be to your right and landscape to your left.
- Proceed down the pathway until you reach a ramp.
- Go up the ramp to enter the Memorial Union Building.
- An elevator is available straight ahead to the left. Stairs are located to the right near large windows.
- Proceed to the 2nd floor to check-in.
Should lots fill, you may park in faculty/staff lots, which are open and free on weekends. Please review posted signage at lot entrances.
Metered parking on Garrison Avenue and Main Street is monitored by the Town of Durham. Admissions cannot waive parking tickets. Meters begin accepting payment at 10:00 a.m., and we recommend using campus lots instead.
Below are our recommendations for the largest lots closest to the venue for the first session of the day.
D-Lot
(ELLIOT ALUMNI CENTER)
GPS ADDRESS: 9 EDGEWOOD ROAD, DURHAM, NH
Use the map for driving directions from your location. We recommend using the exit at Route 155A to access parking easily and following the instructions to campus below.
- Continue onto Main Street towards Downtown Durham.
- At the traffic circle, continue straight to stay on Main Street.
- Proceed down Main Street for 0.5 miles.
- Turn left onto Edgewood Road.
- Proceed straight on Edgewood Road for 0.2 miles.
- Turn left onto Strafford Ave.
- D-Lot will be on the left.
Once you have parked in D-Lot, proceed to the Memorial Union Building.
- Head towards Edgewood Road to exit the parking lot via the stairs and/or sidewalk.
- Turn right on Edgewood and go towards the traffic lights on Main Street.
- You will pass the Hamel Recreation Center (on your right) before approaching the Edgewood Road and Main Street intersection.
- Cross the street at the lights (intersection of Main Street and Edgewood Road).
- Take a left and continue down Main Street for 0.4 miles past a large clock tower (Thompson Hall) and a brick building with white pillars (Hamilton Smith), which will both be on your right.
- Take a right and continue up the driveway to the Memorial Union Building (MUB).
- Go to the main entrance (sliding doors) towards the center of the circle driveway and proceed to the 2nd floor to check in.
A-Lot
GPS ADDRESS: 15 GABLES WAY, DURHAM, NH
Use the map for driving directions from your location. We recommend using the exit at Route 155A to access parking easily and following the instructions to campus below.
- Exit at Route 155A and turn towards Durham (the 3rd exit that references "Durham", if coming from Route 4).
- Follow 155A past a short stretch of fields to continue to the UNH campus.
- At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto North Drive and continue for 0.1 miles.
- Turn right onto Sage Way and continue for 0.2 miles.
- At the stop sign, turn left onto Gable Way. The parking lot will be on your right.
A LOT TO THE MEMORIAL UNION BUILDING (14 minutes)
Once you have parked in A-Lot, proceed to the Memorial Union Building.
- Exit the lot towards Main Street via the sidewalk on Gables Way and Sage Way or via the stairs at center of the parking lot closest to Main Street.
- Turn left and head towards the traffic lights. You will see the Wildcat Statue and the Whittemore Center Arena on your left as you head up Main Street towards the lights.
- Cross the street at the lights (intersection of Main Street and College Road).
- Continue down Main Street for 0.4 miles past a large clock tower (Thompson Hall) and a brick building with white pillars (Hamilton Smith), which will both be on your right.
- Take a right and continue up the driveway to the Memorial Union Building (MUB).
- Go to the main entrance (sliding doors) towards the center of the circle driveway and proceed to the 2nd floor to check in.
Accessible parking (for vehicles displaying a state-issued accessible placard or license plate) is available in all campus parking lots except A-Lot and Mast Road Lot.
The closest accessible spaces to the Memorial Union Building (MUB), where the first session of the day will take place, are listed below in order from closest to farthest from the venue. Please note that accessible spaces near the MUB are limited.
Drivers may drop off guests at the MUB circle driveway before proceeding to park.
Edgewood Road Visitor Lot (Reserved Accessible Parking) is farther from the MUB but typically offers the greatest availability. Visitors using mobility aids for temporary injuries (such as crutches, scooters, or canes) who do not have a placard may request access to park in this lot upon arrival.

After the welcome session, as guests transition to other sessions and activities across campus, those who prefer transportation may use:
Campus shuttle which makes regular stops on Quad Way near the MUB and runs continuous loops around campus.
Access Van
Visitors with temporary or permanent mobility impairments may also schedule transportation through the Access Van by calling (603) 862-2328 (option 2) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Access Van provides on-campus transportation to support accessibility needs.

The Innovation Scholars program is a research driven introduction to UNH for first-year students under the direction of a faculty member. Students will develop skills that open doors of opportunity at UNH and connect them to the scholarly activity with UNH Innovation and UNH Career and Professional Success.
