What is Admitted Student Visit Day and Why Should you Attend?
Now that you’ve been accepted to UNH and officially become a Wildcat, it’s time to spend a day diving deeper into academics and student life while meeting some of the people you’ll go to school with!
Each of UNH’s schools hosts its own Admitted Student Visit Day. At each one, you can expect to attend information sessions on academics and student life, meet with faculty and current students, tour residence halls and facilities on campus and experience so much more! When is Admitted Student Visit Day happening this year?
Here are the dates and times for each college’s Admitted Student Visit Day. Note that some schools also will have a separate, smaller admitted student event in case you can’t make it to the main event date.
- CEPS: Saturday, April 15, 2023
- Smaller event on: Wednesday, April 19
- COLSA: Saturday, April 1, 2023
- Smaller event on: Thursday, April 6
- COLA: Saturday, April 1 and Saturday, April 15 2023
- CHHS: Saturday, March 25, 2023
- Smaller event on: Tuesday, April 11

- Smaller events on: Wednesday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 18
- Additional admitted spring events on Fridays from February 17 - April 14

Who can come to Admitted Student Visit Day?
Admitted Student Visit Days are a chance for students who have been admitted to UNH to discover campus and college life with their families.
What will I do on Admitted Student Visit Day?
The schedule for each college's Admitted Student Visit Day varies, but each experience will include:
1. Academic information sessions
- Speak with current students and faculty
- Learn more about the majors you’re interested in

2. Lunch
- Enjoy lunch in one of our award-winning dining halls
3. Resource fair
- Learn more about campus offices and organizations by speaking with representatives
4. Financial Aid Office open
- Visit the Financial Aid Office
- Ask general and specific questions about financial aid

5. Open residence halls
- Select residence halls will be open to visitors
- Speak with hall directors and residents
- Learn about living on campus and community/student life
6. Campus tour
- Explore campus on a student-led walking tour

7. Facility Tours
- Take in state-of-the-art facilities and labs specific to your program and see where you’ll learn and do research
