Learn more about what you can find in this hub of student life and explore ways to get involved, have fun and find community on campus.

If you are searching for the center of UNH student life and activities as an admitted student, the Memorial Union Building (MUB) is your answer. The MUB is a centralized building on campus for the Wildcat community to come together for day-to-day activities as well as to attend special events. The MUB fosters an inclusive, thriving environment for students and ensures student life at UNH is as appealing as its academics and athletics.

UNH MUB event

What kind of events are held at the MUB?

As mentioned, there are multiple venues in the MUB for events. Events include:

Leadership Programs

The Memorial Union & Student Activities board provides training and development opportunities for UNH students to explore their academic, organizational and societal leadership skills.

Make and Take

These are weekly events organized by the Board where students can relax while expressing their creativity through arts and crafts.

Maker’s Expo

A vendor fair where UNH students, staff and faculty come together to buy and sell their crafts.

A long-standing UNH tradition, MUBFest hosts a wide variety of fun activities and events to help new students become acclimated to college.

UNH Uday

How can I get involved at the MUB or on campus in general?

The Memorial Union & Student Activities and Campus Activities Board are organizations that create many of the events for student life on campus. They are always open to new members—just attend any meeting to join!

Otherwise, there are many ways to get involved on campus. UNH hosts semesterly organization fairs, as well as an annual event called UDay where students, staff, faculty and the Durham community can discover 200+ student groups, organizations and local vendors. Search through our Wildcat Link to find the hundreds of clubs and organizations available at UNH.

You can also visit our ‘events’ Wildcat Link, where you can view an array of different events that UNH has or will put on for students as well as the general public.

What are the MUB hours of operation?

Individual departments’ and service providers' hours may vary; however, the building hours are:

  • Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.
