Meredith Gagnon-Dube

Hi! I’m your admissions counselor, Meredith. Here’s a little bit about me and what I enjoy most about UNH.  I look forward to working with you!

Where is your favorite place on campus?

The Hamel Student Recreation Center (HRC).  When an undergraduate student, I was a student-athlete who was constantly at the gym.  I love that at UNH, the HRC is a beautiful facility that offers students to: workout, take X- classes, rent outdoor equipment, play intramural sports, swim, and much more!

What’s your favorite thing to eat on campus?

The ice cream at the Dairy Bar.

What makes UNH so special?

The opportunities that UNH offers.  UNH is large enough to be able to allow you to get involved and have unique experiences, but small enough you will always have a voice on campus.

What’s your favorite UNH tradition?

Rubbing the nose of the Wildcat statue for good luck.

Where did you grow up?

Manchester, N.H.

What college did you attend/degree earned?

B.A. Professional Communications and MBA from Plymouth State University

Family/pets?

My husband, James, and our son, Gryffin.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I love to knit and bake.  Pumpkin whoopie pies are one of my specialties!

Any fun facts about yourself?

My husband and I are working towards completing a race (half-marathon or marathon) in each state within the U.S.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in your life?

Becoming a Mother.
