Who you’ll become on our campus starts with how you’ll belong. As you consider your college journey at UNH, you may be wondering what it means to belong and find community on campus. We’ve got you covered with five places where UNH students regularly fit in and find friends and community on campus.

1. Hamel Recreation Center

Hamel Recreation Center is the hub for all things active on our campus. Students love making new friends, competing and trying something new through many club sports—including synchronized skating and ultimate frisbee—and our huge variety of intramural sports—including broomball and soccer. Hamel Rec also offers group fitness classes and courts where students meet up to play basketball and pickleball.

UNH students love exploring our over 200 clubs and organizations. There’s something for everyone—from the United Asian Coalition, celebrating the heritage and traditions of Asian cultures, to Eco Reps, dedicated to making the community a better and cleaner place.
