Before You Get to Campus
Prepare Your Questions
Before you get to campus, start thinking of questions you have about life at UNH. It may even be helpful to write some of them down. You'll have the chance to ask academic questions at department and major sessions and student and residence life questions during the resource fair and residence hall visit.
Pack Smart
Make sure you pack your walking shoes and proper clothing for the temperature so you can enjoy exploring and spending time outdoors on our beautiful campus.

Map out Your Visit
Take time to think about what spaces and areas of campus you definitely want to see or where you want to spend the most time during Admitted Student Visit Day. For example, if you want to see downtown Durham, consider getting coffee there before the day begins. If you're most interested in learning about academic life, make the most of your time at the department and major sessions. During Your Visit
Slow Down
The day can go by quickly, and it can feel overwhelming to learn everything about a new school all at once. Make sure to take time to slow down and take in the campus around you, whether that's taking a slower walk across Thompson Hall (T-Hall) lawn or pausing to make sure you ask all your questions during the residence hall visit.
Be Open
Get to know the other prospective students and families around you; you never know when you might be meeting your new classmates! You'll also have the chance to meet with current students, faculty and staff at UNH, so take the opportunity to introduce yourself and ask any questions you may have.
