A day in Kittery, Maine
20 minutes from campus
Did you know that Kittery is Maine’s oldest town?
8:30 a.m.
Stop by Lil’s Cafe and grab a coffee and one of their baked goods or famous crullers for breakfast!
10 a.m.
Spend your morning enjoying panoramic views of the ocean and exploring the history of Fort Foster! Take a walk along the beaches and paths by the ocean and walk out on the pier for beautiful views. If you have time, you can also take in the views and climb the historical fort at nearby Fort McClary.
12:30 p.m.
There’s no better place to grab lunch in Kittery than Beach Pea Baking co. Order one of their handcrafted sandwiches for lunch, with vegan and vegetarian options. Don’t forget to get one of their delicious made-from-scratch baked goods for dessert and take home a loaf of artisan bread.

2 p.m.
The afternoon is your time to shop at the Kittery Outlets! Whether you are shopping for clothes, kitchenware, handmade gifts or outdoor goods at the Kittery Trading Post, there’s something for you at the Kittery outlets.

7 p.m.
Finish off the day with a pizza dinner at When Pigs Fly pizzeria! Visit their outlet store next door for artisan bread and treats!
