5 Things to Do Near the University of New Hampshire in the Fall

Are you planning to tour the University of New Hampshire this fall? If you're heading to UNH's campus for a visit, check out some of these scenic and fun things to do during one of New England's most beautiful seasons. Here are our top five activities to add to your tour of our campus.

1.  First, tour our campus!

Fall is a great time to tour our campus and learn more about the UNH experience. You'll be able to picture yourself here as you watch current students walk to class and enjoy the green spaces on our campus in one of our most scenic seasons.

2. Visit a farm

There are plenty of scenic orchards and farms near UNH where you can enjoy fun fall traditions like apple picking. While you're at it, try some apple cider and cider donuts.

3. See fall foliage

UNH is located fewer than 90 miles from the White Mountains, where you can see beautiful views of fall foliage. Take a drive to experience the views after you tour UNH or extend your tour into a longer visit to explore all that the White Mountains have to offer.

4. Take a walk in College Woods

Did you know that UNH has about 250 acres of woods, streams, and small fields? Our College Woods is a favorite place for students to take a walk, recharge, and connect with nature. Check out this natural area right on our campus after you take your tour.

5. Watch a UNH football game

There is no better way to preview our Wildcat spirit than by attending a sporting event on our campus. Catch a football game this fall in Wildcat Stadium!
