As summer comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to highlight and thank our summer admissions tour guides for their outstanding efforts! They led safe and engaging tours amidst evolving guidelines, mastered new technology with our YouTube live tours and even hosted #ThisIsUNH takeovers – all on top of their busy schedules.

Avery Laberge '21

Avery Laberge ’21 is a dual major in international business and international affairs from Farmington, Connecticut who transferred to UNH in the fall of 2019. Avery is the recruitment chair for her sorority, and she also serves as a transfer peer mentor!

  • What’s your favorite thing about being a tour guide? Getting to share why I love UNH so much and meet so many new people.
  • Which dining hall is your favorite? Stillings! My first year at UNH, I lived with my roommate Erin (another summer tour guide) in Sawyer Hall, which is next door to Stillings. It became very special to me! The convenience of having the dining hall right there was also especially helpful.
  • Watch Avery’s takeover.

Erin Vreeland

Erin Vreeland ’22 is a pre-vet animal science major from Sparta, New Jersey. She serves as the community chair for her agricultural sorority Sigma Alpha and is a member of the pre-veterinary club!

  • What’s your favorite thing about being a tour guide? Getting to know the prospective students and talking to them about what they’re looking for in a school and for their future. Then, I can hopefully make a difference by showing them UNH!
  • Which dining hall is your favorite? Stillings! It’s the underdog. I love the big windows that open to the trees behind it! It feels like I’m eating in the woods.
  • Watch Erin’s takeover.

Noah Lynch

Noah Lynch ’23 is a communication major from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

  • What’s your favorite thing about being a tour guide? Sharing my experiences here at UNH with prospective students and talking about why I love this campus.
  • Which dining hall is your favorite? Philbrook. I lived nearby in Williamson Hall my freshman year, so it’s where I made a lot of my friends!
  • Watch Noah’s takeover.

Lauren Reid

Lauren Reid ’23 is an occupational therapy major from Madbury, New Hampshire. She is involved in the Best Buddies student organization, the Student Occupational Therapy Association and sorority life.

  • What’s your favorite thing about being a tour guide? Learning more about everything that is offered to students at UNH and sharing that with prospective students.
  • Which dining hall is your favorite? Stillings. I lived next to it my freshman year, so I have a lot of good memories there!
  • Watch Lauren’s takeover.

Sabrina Kadariya

Sabrina Kadariya ’23 is a health management and policy major from Manchester, New Hampshire. This fall, she will be a Dean’s Ambassador in the College of Health and Human Services!

Ginny Mercier

Virginia “Ginny” Mercier ’22 is a human development and family studies major from Auburn, New Hampshire. Ginny is a member of Cru, a student-led faith group. She is also a Dean’s Ambassador for the College of Health and Human Services.

Thanks again, summer tour guides! As the admissions team gears up for fall tours, we invite you to visit campus to enjoy our narrated self-paced walking and driving tours. Prospective students and their families say they love the flexibility of our new tour options and that they provide a great starting point for experiencing UNH.

Whichever way you visit campus, be sure to take some selfies at your favorite spots along the way. We continue to host a social media photo contest, with the opportunity to win a UNH swag pack and be featured on our social channels. You can submit your photos here.
