1.) Watch your email

Make sure to carefully read the Fall Open House reminder email that was sent to you. There, you’ll find important information about making the most of your day on campus!

2.) Keep your QR code

In that same Fall Open House reminder email, you’ll find a QR code that you’ll need to check in for Fall Open House. Don’t worry if you can’t find it; the QR code will also be texted to you the morning of Open House.

3.) Get ready to navigate campus with ease

Download our UNH mobile app ahead of time, so that you have maps and event information at your fingertips.

4.) Divide and conquer

Is your student interested in different academic sessions occurring at the same time? Consider dividing and conquering sessions among family members so you and your student can make the most of the day.

5.) Get an early start

Do your best to arrive early to allow plenty of time to park and make your way to the Hamel Recreation Center for event check-in.

6.) Keep an open mind

Remember that Open House is a day dedicated to possibility for your student. Have fun, keep an open mind and enjoy time with your student while anticipating all the opportunities on their horizon.

7.) Take a step back

Encourage your student to lead the way while exploring campus, asking questions and interacting with faculty and staff. They’ll start gaining independence and choosing their own path, which is great practice for starting college.

8.) Slow down

Remember to slow down and take it all in, while deciding whether UNH is the right choice for your student. Fall is one of the most beautiful times on our New England campus, so take in all the sights and sounds of UNH and enjoy your day!
