Day in My Life

Laura Holmansky '25

Are you wondering what a day in the life of a UNH student looks like? Welcome back to our Day in My Life blog series, where we put the spotlight on students from different academic majors and class years

Today, Laura Holmansky '25, a marketing and management major at UNH, takes us through a day in her life at the UNH Marketing & Advertising Club's Summit for Marketing and Advertising Careers (MAC SMAC). This yearly event at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics offers students real-world experience and networking opportunities, along with a front-row seat to top global brands and industry insights.

Laura is a a marketing associate on the board of directors for the Marketing & Advertising Club, creating content for their social media accounts and managing their LinkedIn alumni group. Follow along on Laura's day to learn more about what it's like attending MAC SMAC as a group leader for the Real World Business Challenge!

I am serving as a group leader for the Real World Business Challenge at the Summit. My team sets up our poster for the challenge and I run through the pitch with them. The business we are partnering with for the challenge is The Traveling Cocktail & Event Co. We help our client set up her mocktail stand nearby. I loved working with The Traveling Cocktail team!
