Emma Breslend '22, a Recreation Management and Policy major, transitioned from learning about recreation management in the classroom to living out her passion in a full-time position after graduation, as the Program Supervisor at Nottingham Parks and Recreation. Through support and contagious enthusiasm from her professors, Emma gained the confidence to make her dream of helping others a reality. Sophia Bolduc '23 experienced an eye-opening internship with the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County. Her marketing and communications work with the nonprofit provided her with the skills employers are looking for. Interacting one-on-one with food pantry clients inspired in her a desire to continue helping her community. The internship showed Sophia just how much she can do with her major, leaving her excited for the future after graduation. Read More
