1. How did you choose your major?
I came in undeclared in the College of Liberal Arts (COLA); I knew science wasn’t for me. I explored a variety of classes my freshman year, but when I took Intro to Media Studies, I knew the communication major was for me.
2. Why do you love your major?
I love my major because it weaves together my passion for writing and my love of media and culture, allowing me to research and write about what I love. I love my department because of the amazing faculty who have pushed me in directions I never thought I would go!

3. What has been your favorite experience at UNH so far?
The hockey games! I’m not a big sports fan, especially football, so I thought I would dislike hockey as well, but once my friends dragged me to a game for the first time, I realized how fun they are, especially in the student section, getting head pats from Gnarlz and participating in the 'Cat Pack’s chants.

4. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned at UNH so far?
I have learned to not be afraid of taking risks/going out of my comfort zone. I never thought I would be the president of an organization, never mind applying to grad school or presenting at research conferences.

5. What do you love about being in the College of Liberal Arts (COLA)?
COLA has so many majors that all somewhat overlap; any class you take in COLA will somehow connect to your other classes, and I think these connections really help you learn and absorb the content, both in and outside of your major.

6. What are your plans for after graduation?
I’m applying to Ph.D. programs, but I will be looking at jobs in human resources or event planning if graduate school doesn’t work out.
7. What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I am a concert fiend! I've attended 83 concerts so far, and I’m hoping to hit 100 by the end of next year.
