What is the Granite Guarantee?
The Granite Guarantee is UNH's signature financial aid program that makes it possible for qualified New Hampshire students to pay no UNH tuition. It is renewable for all four years as long as you remain financially eligible, attend UNH full-time and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year.
The Granite Guarantee does not cover costs beyond tuition, including those for room, board and books, so you’ll want to be sure and talk with a trusted adult about whether this program makes financial sense for you and your family.

How does the Granite Guarantee work?
The Granite Guarantee covers what your aid package doesn’t cover so that you pay no tuition.
No additional applications or paperwork are required in order to be eligible. All you need to do is apply to UNH and submit your FAFSA. If you receive the Granite Guarantee, your financial award offer from UNH will show a combination of grants and scholarships covering the entire cost of tuition.
