Resiliency is in Lauren Schoeller’s DNA. Born with a form of dwarfism, the ’21 grad has been surrounded by world-class doctors and scientists her whole life. And looking back, it’s a big reason why she is where she is today. Having gone through 20 orthopedic surgeries over the course of her lifetime, her passion for medicine has inspired her to pursue a career as an orthopedic surgeon. While Lauren credits UNH, the staff, and support system for helping her get through undergrad, those around Schoeller recognize that her hard work and determination are the true masterminds behind her success. Undergrad? Check. Next up? Getting her master's in medical science at Tufts University.
