Next Steps for Spring Transfers

ACTIVATE your MyUNH account using the Student ID number on your acceptance letter: You can use your MyUNH account to view your transfer credits, register for classes, apply for housing, choose a meal plan, check your financial aid, make payments and other essential tasks.

REQUEST on-campus housing, which is offered to transfer students on a first-come, first-served basis as space is available. (You can do this before you enroll.) Review on-campus housing options, learn more about off-campus housing

SUBMIT your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1 (UNH priority deadline) if you are applying for financial aid.

REVIEW how your credits have transferred to UNH and learn the general transfer policies.

SCHEDULE an appointment in December with transfer advising contact for your major to discuss course selection and registration procedures. Advisers are generally not able to meet with incoming students before December, so we ask that you wait until then to contact them.

REGISTER for courses using your MyUNH account once you have spoken with your departmental transfer adviser. You are not required to pay an enrollment deposit prior to registration for the spring semester.

PAY your spring tuition bill. Bills are posted to your MyUNH account, where you can make payment arrangements. For more information, contact Business Services.

CHECK your financial aid information through your MyUNH account to access that status of your application and your financial aid package. For more information, contact our Financial Aid Office.

CHOOSE a meal plan, whether you plan to live on campus or not. The food is fantastic.

SIGN UP for the UNH Student Health Benefit Plan or submit a waiver form if you’re already enrolled in a qualified health insurance plan. Also send your required health forms to Health & Wellness.

SUBMIT your final transcript to the Admissions Office by January 7 2019.

REGISTER for our New Student Welcome Day on January 21, where you can meet other entering students and learn more about campus offices and services, including Commuter and Nontraditional Student Services.

START your life as a Wildcat! Spring term classes begin on January 22.
