The University of New Hampshire's scenic main campus is known for its history and year-round beauty. The residential campus is located in Durham, just an hour north of Boston and an hour south of the White Mountain range. It's easily accessible by many means of transportation, including Amtrak train (we have our very own station right on campus).

Meet for 30 minutes with an admissions counselor and ask any question you'd like. Then, explore our breathtaking campus (which is also one of the safest and greenest in the country!), on a 90-minute tour led by one of our very own kind, motivated students, and see why great people like you belong here.
There are many options available for you to explore the picturesque UNH campus, whether you prefer large events or one-on-one meetings.

UNH welcomes groups of 10 or more visitors from schools and organizations. Tours are available by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the academic year and each summer. We offer self-guided tours and scavenger hunts for grades 6-8, and information sessions and campus tours for grades 9-12. A minimum of three weeks advance notice is required to accommodate any group visit request.
The Admissions Office hosts a number of different programs designed for school counselors to experience what UNH has to offer. You will have the opportunity to engage with students and staff, and tour some of our state-of-the-art academic facilities. Tours take place rain or shine. Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are a must. Pets are not permitted with the
exception of service dogs. Tours are canceled when the University cancels operations. If the weather is questionable, please call the
