Hello, my name is Hiwalani and I am one half of your Diversity Ambassador Coordinators for UNH
I was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and moved to Manchester, NH in 2010. After graduating from high school, I attended the University of San Francisco for my freshman year, and transferred to UNH for the 2015-2016 school year as a sophomore. This is my second year here at UNH, and I’m so excited to be part of this amazing team!Admissions! I’m currently a junior, and I double major in Communication and Women’s Studies, and would like to pursue a minor in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Studies.
As a transfer student, I truly appreciate and understand the amazing qualities of this campus, and through this program I hope to bring together students from all across campus from different backgrounds so that together, we can increase the diversity here in our campus community!
I know for a fact that here as Wildcats, we are some of the most amazing and hard working people around, and I can’t wait to meet with and work with    some of the greatest people our school has to offer! I look forward to meeting all of you and can’t wait

Hello, my name is Yami, and I am one of your Diversity Ambassador Coordinators for UNH Admissions! I am currently a junior, with a dual major in Sociology and Women’s Studies.

Since I began my journey as a fellow Wildcat, I had so much school pride and absolutely loved UNH and the environment. I have absolutely enjoyed my experience here thus far, and found a family away from home.

I truly enjoy being a Diversity Ambassador Coordinator because it allows me to continue to make UNH even better, be creative, and bring many multicultural student leaders across campus together. Through this experience, I am able to work to recruit more multicultural students to attend UNH and help make our campus community population more diverse. This experience has allowed me to grow as both a student and rising professional. I have learned critical skills and have met some of the most amazing people here at UNH who are equally passionate about making UNH a more inclusive and diverse place. I look forward to working and growing with you all this year. Let’s make UNH a better place together and spread the love!

IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE A WILDCAT!
