What is your major?
Animal Science and Pre-Vet

What is your hometown?
Sparta, New Jersey

Why did you choose UNH?
One of the reasons why I chose UNH was because of their amazing animal science program and acceptance rate to vet school. But I also choose UNH for its location. I love being so close to the mountains and the ocean!

What's your favorite thing about UNH?
The thing I love about UNH is that it's a medium sized school but feels small and has an amazing sense of community. There are many small world coincidences that occur, and I love that it's so easy to connect with other wildcats!

What is your major?
Occupational Therapy

What is your hometown?
Madbury, New Hampshire

Why did you choose UNH?
I chose UNH for the combined B.S./M.S. Occupational Therapy program along with the other academic opportunities. I also loved the programs and events that UNH offered such as pre-orientation programs, sporting events, and student organizations.

What's your favorite thing about UNH?
My favorite thing about UNH is the size. UNH has a medium sized student body with a centralized campus that allows for a tight knit community. I love that I am a ten minute walk from any of my friends or classes and I can stay easily connected but I still have access to the resources and benefits that come from attending a larger school.

What is your major?
Communication

What is your hometown?
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Why did you choose UNH?
I chose UNH because of the great community and the support it brings. When I first stepped on campus, I felt like I was at home, and I knew it was the school for me.

What's your favorite thing about UNH?
I love all the of the friends that I have made at UNH. They inspire me to push myself and take advantage of every opportunity I can here on campus. Without them, I would have never become an Admissions Student Representative.

What is your major?
Health Management and Policy

What is your hometown?
Manchester, New Hampshire

Why did you choose UNH?
I chose UNH because of the sense of community and how close (yet far) away it was from home.

What's your favorite thing about UNH?
I love how welcoming and prideful people are at UNH. It really makes the college experience feel a lot homier.

Ginny Mercier

What is your major?
Human Development and Family Studies

What is your hometown?
Auburn, New Hampshire

Why did you choose UNH?
I chose UNH because from the moment I walked onto the campus as a high school senior I felt welcomed and appreciated by the faculty, staff, and students. Everyone was so friendly, the campus was beautiful, the opportunities were endless, and these things made me want to spend more time here.

What's your favorite thing about UNH?
My favorite thing about UNH is the size of the community. It is a big enough campus to always be meeting new people and trying new things, but at the same time, small enough to make strong connections and feel at home.

What is your major?
Dual Major: International Business & International Affairs

What is your hometown?
Farmington, CT

Why did you choose UNH?
I chose UNH because of its location. UNH is unique being close to mountains, cities, and the ocean, so I couldn't picture myself anywhere else. Not only that, but the International Business program was an opportunity I couldn't pass up on.

What's your favorite thing about UNH?
I love UNH because it has the feel of big university but allows me to find smaller communities within it. I have made friends of all different interests and backgrounds within different clubs and organizations, such as my sorority, being a tour guide, and being a transfer peer mentor
