How to Enroll



Please follow the four steps outlined below. Payment is due by May 1 for Fall 2008, or the date indicated on your bill.

**Late payments will be considered on a space-available basis.


How to pay your deposit


Pay the $300 enrollment fee portion of your bill. Send check or money order with your full name and the last 4 digits of your social security number clearly indicated. UNH does not accept credit card payments.

Send your payment and the top portion of the deposit bill to Business Services in the blue envelope provided with your acceptance letter.


Enrollment fee refund


A request for an enrollment fee refund must be made in writing, either by using the Withdrawal/Refund Card or by sending a email/postal letter, to the University of New Hampshire, Office of Admissions, 4 Garrison Avenue, Durham, NH 03824.


Your refund is determined by the date we receive your cancellation:


  • If we receive your request prior to June 1, your refund amount is $150.
  • If we receive your request between June 1 and August 15, your refund amount is $75.
  • If we receive your request after August 15, you will not receive a refund.

Spring 2008 Admitted Transfer Students


No deposit is required for transfer students admitted for Spring 2008. Please follow the instructions that accompanied your letter of admission.
