Transfer Life at UNH

Whether you live on campus or off, we think you’ll feel right at home at UNH. Our classic New England campus boasts close to 30 dormitories and apartments, with a range of nearby off-campus housing; three spacious, modern dining halls noted for their award-winning food and student-friendly schedules; extensive Student Life and Health Services programs to keep you happy and healthy; a vibrant student center and a full-service bookstore; and helpful services for our commuter students. So go ahead: make yourself at home!

On-campus housing is offered to transfer students on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis. While we can’t guarantee you on-campus housing, the Housing and Residential Life Office is eager to accommodate as many transfer students as possible. Sign up for their online housing waitlist and review their list of housing FAQ.

Off-campus housing is available in Durham and a number of surrounding communities. Our office of Commuter Student Services maintains listings for off-campus housing. Call 603-862-0303 for more information.

UNH dining plans are available to all UNH students, including those who live off-campus. Check out Dining Services to learn more about their extensive menu of meal plan options, and pick the plan that works for you.
