How to Apply
International students applying to UNH must submit the following:
- Completed and signed Common Application
- $65 application fee
- Official
copy of secondary school transcript, with English translations *( See #10). Please
send senior year grades as soon as they are available; applications
will not be considered complete until first marking period grades are
received.
- SAT/ACT with writing test results, sent directly from the testing
organization. (UNH reporting code for the College Board is 3918.)
- TOEFL
results, sent directly from the College Board. Recommended minimum
TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version). Native
English speakers do not need to submit TOEFL results.
- Secondary school profile, if available.
- Recommendation from a guidance counselor, teacher, or school administrator, in English.
- One essay written in English.
- Completed UNH International Applicant Financial Declaration with supporting bank documentation.
- Official
university transcripts(s) of any coursework taken prior to applying to
UNH, with English translations.
*In most cases, it will be necessary for
you to provide a credential evaluation of your secondary school and university coursework.
Options include, but are not limited to, World Education Services (WES)
www.wes.org and the Center for Education Documentation www.cedevaluations.com.
Your
application cannot be reviewed until we have received ALL materials.
Please note the application deadline for the fall semester is February
1. The application deadline for the spring semester is October 15.
