Discover UNH Weekend
This overnight educational program in the fall gives high school seniors the opportunity to learn about the college application process with the help of various campus offices.

Preview UNH
This reception event in the spring is held for admitted high school seniors.

Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) assists students and student groups that contribute to making the University a diverse, multicultural community. OMSA is dedicated to fostering the full participation of African-American, Latino, Asian-American and Pacific Islanders, Native American, and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students in all facets of the UNH community.

OMSA also works with various student organizations, such as the Diversity Support Coalition, Mosaico (Latino Student Association), the Black Student Union (BSU), United Asian Coalition (UAC), Native American Cultural Association (NACA), the Alliance (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning and Allied Student Organization), Hillel (Jewish Student Organization), and Muslim Student Association.

CONNECT
CONNECT is an orientation program available to incoming students of color. It is held just prior to fall orientation and the start of the academic year. Participants in CONNECT have an opportunity to meet current UNH students, faculty, and staff, and to become familiar with the campus and University resources. CONNECT creates a welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment for students of color.

Retention Program: Early Academic Intervention
The focus of this program is to improve the academic retention of freshman minority students during their first semester. The program starts as an academic component of the summer CONNECT orientation, and provides assistance to students who are having difficulty meeting the considerable challenges of college-level study. Academic Support Services
The Center for Academic Resources assists undergraduate students in reaching their academic potential and maximizing their educational experience at UNH. The Center encourages students to become active learners who develop the abilities to set educational goals and priorities needed to become successful in college—and beyond. Office of Residential Life: Common Purposes Residence Hall
Common Purposes is a theme living community that offers students a challenging and supportive environment in which to explore issues of human diversity. Leadership within this community is collaborative: each student shares in the responsibility for promoting a positive, safe, and fun-filled environment. Residency in Common Purposes is open to any UNH student regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identification, religious (non)affiliation, or sexuality.
