Admitted to an Alternate Major?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer every admitted transfer student direct admission into some UNH majors. Enrollment restrictions to some majors may be driven by limited space in the program; specific expectations for coursework completed in high school or college; or both.
UNH students may eventually apply to restricted majors as an internal transfer. An internal transfer student is a UNH student who applies to change major into a program with specific expectations that must be met by students declaring that major. There is no guarantee for any major that there will be an opportunity for internal transfers. Depending on the major, the criteria may change from year to year. Please contact Admissions or your initial contact adviser for more information.
